Arthur Murray Waterford Lakes presents Dancing with OUR Stars!

Dancing with OUR stars will be a night full of performances from our local stars here in our community. (#SupportLocal)
They have started this community project to benefit children with Cerebral Palsy. The goal of this event is to bring our heroes in our community together with their dance instructors to get you ready for the Dancing with OUR stars show.

Our AMAZING Stars:
Christy Dove:
Christy Dove is a teacher at Stone Lakes Elementary. She teaches 2nd through 5th graders with Autism and other special needs. This year she was awarded Teacher of the Year at Stone Lakes. She is also active in Special Olympics as well as supervisor to an Inclusion club, Eagles United. She lived in Pennsylvania and St. John, US Virgin Islands prior to moving to Orlando in 2009. She enjoys spending time with her husband Brian, sons Jackson and Case and Goddaughter, Gigi.
City of Orlando Fire Chief Roderick S. Williams:
This dancing star is on FIRE! Orlando Fire Chief Roderick S. Williams’ dance moves will have everyone on their feet! Chief Williams is native to Orlando. Chief Williams has worked in many capacities for the Orlando Fire Department. He currently serves as the Fire Chief of one of the top fire stations in the nation. Chief Williams believes you have to always be connected to your community and is gratifying for him to be able to give back to his community as much as they have given him. Chief Williams is married and has three daughters. For fun, he likes to play golf, work out and dance. His fondest memories are dancing with his mother, which started when he was a young child.
Katie Cornado:
Katie Coronado is a journalist and an instructor of broadcast journalism at the University of Central Florida. After working in both English- and Spanish-language media more than 13 years, NSC appointed her to the instructor position in 2011. Katie has two beautiful children a 2 year old and 7 year old. She has been with the University of Central Florida for 7 years. She received her Masters Degree from Rollins College. She was previously a reporter for NBC Tampa. She loves to travel and her job has given her the great opprotunity to travel to Costa Rica, Mexico, and Cuba.
Orange County Fire Chief Otto Drozd, III:
Otto Drozd III, EFO, CFO, is a 30-year veteran of the fire service and has been chief of the Orange County (FL) Fire Rescue Department since 2012. He previously served as chief in El Paso, Texas, and Hialeah, Florida. Drozd was awarded a fire service fellowship to attend Harvard University’s Senior Executives in State and Local Government Program in 2010. He has a bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University and a master’s degree from St. Thomas University.
